Wei\u00dft du eigentlich, warum das imposante <strong>Holstentor <\/strong>von der Seite betrachtet eine so bedrohliche Schr\u00e4glage hat? Frei nach dem norddeutschen Motto \u201eEen beeten scheef hett Gott leev\u201c l\u00fcften wir das bauliche Geheimnis dieses Meisterwerks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Direkt nebenan werfen wir einen Blick auf die historischen <strong>Salzspeicher<\/strong>, wo einst das \u201ewei\u00dfe Gold\u201c lagerte, das \u00fcber den Stecknitz-Kanal nach L\u00fcbeck kam und den Kaufleuten der Hanse ihren enormen Wohlstand brachte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weiter geht es den Altstadt-H\u00fcgel hinauf zum pr\u00e4chtigen <strong>Rathaus <\/strong>auf dem <strong>Marktplatz<\/strong>. Sie beeindruckt mit dem h\u00f6chsten Backsteingew\u00f6lbe der Welt (stolze 38,5 Meter!) und dem <strong>kleinen Teufel<\/strong>, der vor der Kirche auf einem Stein hockt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zum Abschluss erkunden wir rund um den Koberg Orte voller Geschichte: Das <strong>Heiligen-Geist-Hospital<\/strong> aus dem Jahr 1286 ist eine der \u00e4ltesten Sozialeinrichtungen der Welt, in der die Menschen in winzigen, h\u00f6lzernen \u201eKab\u00e4uschen\u201c lebten.
