Doch die Stadt, die ihren Namen von einer Br\u00fccke an der Saar \u2013 Sarabruca \u2013 ableitet, bietet auch versteckte Highlights. Diese zeigt dir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lialo.com\/de\/profile\/uW9hIGql9AdWP6yKs5h0mv3JG3I3\">Anja<\/a> bei ihrer lialo Tour durch Saarbr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manchmal sieht man ja den Wald vor lauter B\u00e4umen nicht. So zum Beispiel am Rabbiner-R\u00fclf-Platz an der gro\u00dfen Freitreppe zum Uferweg an der Saar. Hier steht ein Wald. Nun ja, eher 40 abgeschnittene Baumst\u00e4mme aus Bronze. Es ist die Skulpturengruppe &#8222;<strong>Der unterbrochene Wald<\/strong>&#8220; \u2013 ein Mahnmal zur Erinnerung an die w\u00e4hrend der NS-Zeit ermordeten saarl\u00e4ndischen Juden. Denn w\u00e4hrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs war im Schloss die Zentrale der Saarbr\u00fccker Gestapo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunstprofessor und Konzeptk\u00fcnstler Jochen Gerz und seine Studenten nahmen in n\u00e4chtlichen Aktionen \u2013 so wie die Gestapo oft im Schutze der Dunkelheit zuschlug \u2013 insgesamt 2.146 Steine aus dem Pflaster. Sie mei\u00dfelten in die Pflastersteine die Namen j\u00fcdischer Friedh\u00f6fe ein, die es vor 1933 in Deutschland gab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit der Beschriftung nach unten f\u00fcgten sie die Steine wieder in das bestehende Pflaster ein. Zun\u00e4chst heimlich und illegal entstand so das Mahnmal gegen Rassismus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nahtlos. Unbemerkbar. Und doch sind die Namen da. Sie erk\u00e4mpfen sich unterbewusste Pr\u00e4senz, erinnern und mahnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seit 1993 symbolisiert das unsichtbare Mahnmal die Verdr\u00e4ngung der Geschichte. Ganz im Sinne des kleinen Prinzen: <em>Man sieht nur mit dem Herzen gut. Denn den Augen bleibt so Einiges verborgen.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und wenn du dir nun das Pflaster in der Einfahrt zum Schloss genauer anschaust, siehst du zwischen den Steinen auch noch andere Dinge in den Boden eingelassen. Was das ist?
