Ich habe zusammen mit Raymund Hinkel aus der D\u00fcsseldorfer B\u00e4ckerfamilie Hinkel anl\u00e4sslich des 725. Stadtjubil\u00e4ums 2013 im Rhein-Boten eine Artikelserie zur Stadtgeschichte D\u00fcsseldorfs ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Daraus sind zwei B\u00fccher entstanden, die bei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.de\/Norbert-Opfermann\/e\/B00HSMPF1C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amazon<\/a> erh\u00e4ltlich sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als mir dann <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lialo.com\/de\/profile\/uW9hIGql9AdWP6yKs5h0mv3JG3I3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anja K\u00fchner<\/a>, die auch als Stadtf\u00fchrerin bei lialo ist, von der M\u00f6glichkeit erz\u00e4hlte St\u00e4dtetouren online anzubieten, war ich gleich Feuer und Flamme. Vororte, die viele Leute vermutlich als Ausflugsziele gar nicht auf dem Schirm haben. Solingen-Gr\u00e4frath, Remscheid-Lennep, Essen-Kupferdreh und Ratingen. Du selber lebst aber in D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wie kamst du auf die Idee, gerade in Kleinst\u00e4dten Touren zu entwickeln und wie bist du mit diesen Orten verbunden?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Norbert:<\/strong> Ich kenne diese Orte schon von Kindesbeinen an und bin auch jetzt immer wieder op J\u00f6ck in der Gegend. In Ratingen stand ich zum Beispiel schon als Kind mit meinem Vater am Karnevalszoch und habe Kamelle gegripscht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das R\u00f6ntgenmuseum in Remscheid-Lennep und den Baldeneysee habe ich mal in den Schulferien entdeckt. Historische Eisenbahnen, Trams, und Obusse zum Beispiel. Du bist, wie wir wissen, aber nicht nur Eisenbahn-Liebhaber, sondern sogar Buchautor zu diesem Thema. Was fasziniert dich daran?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Norbert:<\/strong> Ich kann mich noch Anfang der 1970er-Jahre an die letzten Dampfloks bei der Bundesbahn erinnern. Dann lief im Fernsehen die Reihe Eisenbahn-Romantik und weckte mein Interesse, diese Museumsbahnen selbst zu besuchen. So habe ich fast alle Z\u00fcge und Bergbahnen in der Schweiz bereist. Freilich bin ich auch mit dem Glacier-Express und der Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke gefahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au\u00dferdem bin ich Mitglied in der \u201cDeutschen Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Eisenbahngeschichte\u201d (DGEG) und habe mit diesem Verein schon viele Sonderfahrten gemacht. Oft mit dem Schienenbus, aber viele auch mit Dampfloks. Bei einer Dampflok hat man einfach das Gef\u00fchl, dass die Maschine irgendwie lebt. Wie ein Mensch kommt sie bei einer Bergfahrt ganz sch\u00f6n ins Schnaufen. Daneben hat das Fahren mit Stra\u00dfenbahn-Oldtimern ebenso seinen Reiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stefan: <\/strong>Vermutlich hast du bei den Recherchen zu deinen Touren auch selber die eine oder andere \u00dcberraschung erlebt. In Hamburg stand nat\u00fcrlich das Miniatur Wunderland auf dem Programm. Auf Sylt habe ich dann am Hindenburgdamm Videoaufnahmen von den Z\u00fcgen gedreht. Das Miniatur Wunderland werde ich sicher nochmal besuchen. Dort entsteht so viel Neues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich w\u00fcrde gerne mit einem Nostalgiezug auf der Transsibirischen Eisenbahn bis nach Irkutsk fahren und einmal den Baikalsee sehen. Leider macht mir die weltpolitische Lage derzeit einen Strich durch die Rechnung.
