Januar 1701 selbst kr\u00f6nte, um der Welt seine Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t zu dokumentieren, war vermutlich ein \u201eMorgenmuffel\u201c. Er wollte zwar schon fr\u00fchmorgens die Wetterprognose f\u00fcr Berlin erfahren, doch statt auf die Terrasse seines Schlosses zu treten und nachzusehen, wie sich das Wetter entwickelt, blieb er lieber im Schlafzimmer und schaute einfach auf das Zifferblatt einer Windrose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er hatte sich n\u00e4mlich aus Bequemlichkeit einen \u201e<strong>Windanzeiger<\/strong>\u201c in seinem Schlafzimmer installieren lassen. Und das Beste ist, der funktioniert heute noch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am Ende einer Stange befindet sich ein Zifferblatt mit einer Windrose. \u00dcber eine Zahnradkopplung dreht sich das Gest\u00e4nge je nach Windrichtung. So konnte schon K\u00f6nig Friedrich I. die Windrichtung bequem im Schlafzimmer ablesen, ohne extra aus dem Fenster schauen zu m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denn in Berlin sagt man: Ostwind bringt meist trockene, kalte Winde, Westwind dagegen kann Regenwolken heranblasen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vermutet wird, dass die Redewendung: \u201eVon etwas Wind bekommen\u201c auch aus der Zeit stammt, als K\u00f6nig Friedrich I. in Berlin regierte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Man muss nicht am Rad drehen, um das Windpferdchen zu entdecken.
