W\u00e4ldern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wer jetzt auch an Graf Dracula denkt, liegt gar nicht falsch, denn Nosferatu und Dracula basieren auf derselben Sagengestalt: Ein blutsaugender Vampir oder Untoter, der in Siebenb\u00fcrgen &#8211; besser bekannt als Transsilvanien &#8211; sein Unwesen treibt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nosferatu wird als erstes 1865 in dem Artikel &#8222;Das Jahr und seine Tage in Meinung und Brauch der Rum\u00e4nen&#8220; von Wilhelm Schmidt erw\u00e4hnt. Schmidt war Professor an der wohl \u00e4ltesten, deutschsprachigen Schule Rum\u00e4niens. Er beschreibt Nosferatu als das Ergebnis unehelicher Unzucht und Gefahr f\u00fcr Neuverlobte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die schottische Reiseschriftstellerin Emily Gerard lehnte sich 1888 an diese Beschreibung Nosferatus an, aber verschmolz die Figur mit anderen Bruchst\u00fccken des Glaubens zu einem Vampirbild, das nur entfernt etwas mit dem tats\u00e4chlich rum\u00e4nischen Glaubensbild zu tun hatte. Sie wollte schlie\u00dflich einen Bestseller schreiben.
